Choice-Based Asylum

Many people will be safe in their current country but this is not always so. Millions around the world face persecution or worse because of how they look, their background or what they believe.

The Centre for Asylum Choice is based in a safe country, the United Kingdom. We know that it is the duty of our country and it’s people to help displaced people who claim asylum whoever they are or wherever they are from.

Displaced people often find that their options are very limited when they arrive in a safe country. Government agencies also find it complicated to treat displaced people fairly and respect their needs and wishes.

The Centre for Asylum Choice works to address the difficult issues surrounding international asylum treaties, laws, and procedures to improve outcomes for displaced people and all of the stakeholders in the international asylum system.
